Together we travel the ongoing concentric spiral
A faintish journey do I make
as through this frazzled world I wind,
with heavy heart and weary steps,
but with determined mind.
Beseech I for a flicker of
the faith that can a mountain move,
and hold that tenet close to me,
believing where I cannot prove.
The pow’r that comes when sinking low
to man who grasps for straw or rope,
will clutch til has he breathe no more
for where there’s life, there’s hope.
If my good turn be given to
my fellow man’s deficiency,
I’ll try to share my lowly gifts
of Faith and Hope and Charity.

My True Father,
I set my hopes upon You alone,
And I only ask You, God,
For my Soul salvation.
Let Your Holy Will
Be my strengthening on this way,
For my life without You is a mere empty moment,
And only serving You leads to Eternal life.
– St. Agapit of Pechersk, 11th Century
O, our Father the Sky, hear us
and make us strong.
O, our Mother the Earth, hear us
and give us support.
O Spirit of the East,
send us your Wisdom.
O Spirit of the South,
may we tread your path.
O Spirit of the West,
may we always be ready for the long journey.
O Spirit of the North, purify us
with your cleansing winds.
