I have had many friends who have served our country in the Military. Many of them have done this graceful act in the name of protecting our country, honor, and freedom in exchange for putting their lives on the front line. To these brave men and women, we thank you and we salute you for your service.

One way we can help show our gratitude to our servicemen is by donating to the Operation Gratitude. Each donation brings a care package to our servicemen and helps remind them that they are thought of at home. Please donate to show your thanks to those who protect our country and spread a little bit of kindness in the world.

Give thanks

For what has been given to you,

However little.

Be pure, never falter.

Gratitude

“Gratitude is the state of mind of thankfulness. As it is cultivated, we experience an increase in our “sympathetic joy,” our happiness at another’s happiness. Just as in the cultivation of compassion, we may feel the pain of others, so we may begin to feel their joy as well. And it doesn’t stop there.” – Stephen Levine

Start Your Day With Thankfulness

When you arise in the morning,
give thanks for the morning light,
for your life and strength.
Give thanks for your food, and the joy of living.
If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies with yourself.
