The Present Moment Prayer

My God, when I look into the future, I am frightened,
But why plunge into the future?
Only the present moment is precious to me,
As the future may never enter my soul at all.
It is no longer in my power to change, correct, or add to the past;
For neither sages nor prophets could do that.
And so what the past has embraced, I must entrust to God.

O present moment, you belong to me, whole and entire.
I desire to use you as best I can.
And although I am weak and small,
You grant me the grace of Your omnipotence.
And so, trusting in Your mercy,
I walk through life like a little child,
Offering You each day this heart
Burning with love for Your greater Glory.

A Time for Change

If you stay stuck for a period of time,
this is given unto you by your soul
to give you a resting place.
At this place, you judge it as stuck.

See it as transition.

The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;

the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know
the difference. Living one day at a time; enjoying one moment at
a time; accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; taking, as He
did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; trusting that
He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; that I may
be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him

forever in the next. Amen.

With a Pure Heart

Help us to love each person because
they are a human being and created in the image of God.
Let not our race, color, religion, or ethnicity be a dividing factor
but may we see each person as a uniquely created individual
worthy of our love.
Help us to stand against senseless violence and not support
anyone who would divide others for their own gain.
Make us true instruments of your peace.

In Jesus’ Holy name we ask. Amen.

Asking the Blessing of the Triple Goddess

I am bowing my head
In the eye of the Mother who gave me birth,
In the eye of the Maiden who loves me,
In the eye of the Crone who guides me in wisdom,
In friendship and affection.
Through thy gift of nature, O Goddess,
Bestow upon us fullness in our need.
Love towards the Lady,
The affection of the Lady,
The laughter of the Lady,
The wisdom of the Lady,
The passion of the Lady,
The blessing of the Lady,
And the magic of the Lady
To do in the world of Abred
As the Ageless Ones do in Gwynfyd;
Each shade and light,
Each day and night,
Each moment in kindness,

Grant us Thy Sight.

Rituals of Life

I invite you to enter for a moment
into Sacred Time and Space,
into a way of seeing that is broad and spacious.
See this Day, from the time you arose this morning
until you sleep this evening, as one Ceremony,
divided into small and familiar rituals,
your Heart as the Altar.
You, part of the Cycles of Light and Darkness.
Now begin to see your Life,
from the moment of your Conception
until the time of your Death
as one long, continuous Ceremony,
filled with many rituals,
some familiar, some unknown and challenging.
Your Home and all Your Relations, the Altar.

You, part of many Seasons and Cycles.

Take Refuge in the Shelter of Your Wings

Hear my cry, O God;
listen to my prayer.
From the ends of the earth I call to you,
I call as my heart grows faint;
lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

For you have been my refuge,
a strong tower against the foe;
I long to dwell in your tent forever
and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.

Under the Watch of the Stars

Hear ye the words of the Star Goddess,
the dust of whose feet are the hosts of heaven,
whose body encircles the universe:
I who am the beauty of the green earth
and the white moon among the stars
and the mysteries of the waters,
I call upon your soul to arise and come unto me.
For I am the soul of nature that gives life to the universe.
From Me all things proceed and unto Me they must return.
Let My worship be in the heart that rejoices,
for behold—all acts of love and pleasure are My rituals.
Let there be beauty and strength,
power and compassion,
honor and humility,
mirth and reverence within you.
And you who seek to know Me,
know that your seeking and yearning will avail you not,
unless you know the Mystery:
for if that which you seek,
you find not within yourself,
you will never find it without.
For behold, I have been there with you from the beginning,

and I am that which is attained at the end of desire.
